my new pietta colt's manual say's 12,15 grains tolerance 3F
but every other loading chart say,s 25 to 28 grains. which is correct.
It is an 1851 confederate brass frame colt 44
I shot a brass frame navy until the frame stretched and it wouldn't shoot anymore. If I had it to do over again, I'd have shot lighter loads. Probably would have worn out anyway. Brass sux.
