Pink rifle graphic ("What do you teach your kids?")

Or are you talking about DWS1117's boy? Yeah, I think that might be a bit too much gun for him at the moment . But he looks so happy!

The picture was taken purely for fun.

He is three and although he has Eddie the Eagle down, he can't quite yet recite the four rules without help and isn't ready to keep hearing protection on for more than 30 seconds. He isn't quite ready for the AR, yet. Heck, we are still working on the nerf dart gun. We are encouraging him but not pushing. He will get there when he is ready. I am just glad that he is showing some interest.

I love that new pictures. They send the right message.

Oleg, I personally can't find any way to improve on your original poster here. (And you know I'd tell you if I could think of anything.) Leave it as-is, and publish.

Take the word 'to' out of "What do you teach to your kids?"

The first pic is great...but I agree with gulogulo1970 on the second picture...there's just something creepy about a child that small with a 3 inch blade... :uhoh:

The knife is a Linder, Solingen, Germany forged blade with sambar stag hilt. The tip is rounded but the edge is sharp. She uses it to eat at re-enactments. She also helped design a 12" long Viking style sword she carries. She shoots archery at re-enactments and both Crickett and now AR at Camp Atterbury. She's well versed with safety but I still remind her often, she doesn't play with her tools, and is very responsible for her age.

I just got her a sterling silver and opal ring, too.

Why? Because she is my darling daughter and I worship the water she walks on. :)

She certainly IS innocent. But she DOES know how to use a knife and a gun. Kung fu and sword are pending.

This is not the victim you're looking for.
Move along. :D

We've got to start training the next generation of shooters.
This is my little girl's rifle, she's 20:

ATK,
It's all made by Cavalry Arms, but they only sell through dealers unless you have a VERY big order.

Derek, at Arizona Expert Arms, found my daughter's for me.

There are several colors available:

You know, I actually do feel sorry for the first guy that breaks her heart. Gods know what parts of his body will be broken afterwards.

Excellent.
That is a young woman who will grow up knowing how to take care of herself. She won't be likely to fall for the feminist's anti-gun rhetoric.

Cute kid, cute rifle, cute knife. What's not to like? The second pic could have been softened with a smile, however.

My wife isn't into "black rifles," yet. I bet she might make an exception for "pink rifles."

If you want another tip on how to keep the boys nice & respectful when she hits high school, have the maker of her knife craft a spey knife to match the one she's currently carrying. And tell the boys what a spey knife was designed to do...

I made the sword and built the rifle. The knife is commercially made for kids by Linder.

I also sell the colored hardware and can do builds and powder coats, etc.

Yes, I'll make her a spey blade or something similar. Heh.

She can't smile too much at present--missing 4 top and two bottom teeth. And has a small jaw. I figure orthodontist bills are around the corner when the new ones come in.

That kid has some beautiful eyes. Congrats.

I'd change the text like several people mentioned, other than that I like them just fine.

hmmm...

I know short captions are earier to remember and preferred for effect, but htis one might do with a longer one. How about;

My Mommy teaches me to be safe with her rifle:
Always treat it as if it were loaded, and
I know where the safety is.
What does your mommy teach you?

Emphasises the woman aspect by using mommy instead of daddy. emphasizes saety above all. contrasts with the 'freak out and run away' advice of the anti-2A crowd.

BTW: if you were to do a 4 year old kid or something, then the 'don't touch it and tell and adult' advice might be the right caption. But this kid is old enough for the safety lesson.

A real Italian would have a Beretta AR-70. Or BM59. PING!!! (sorta)

Still cute. What's the story? Comic book?

posters.....

I really like the first one, quite good. i have no preference for the second, perhaps when the teeth come in, another w/a smile would be good. ;)

If you go to PJS investments, he had one there w/a little girl & the AUG that i thought was REALLY something, maybe you could check it out....

It would be nice if you could get one of those rifles for a day or two.....
there's just something about the AUG......

I know, i got it, i GOT IT!!!

"......but nobody doesn't like the AUG......." (to the tune of the Sarah Lee commercial) remember, it was BORN COPYRIGHTED here, by ME, (I need all the help i can get).
