Please tell me what is involved in moving a trigger group forward and installing a pistol grip on a saiga shotgun.
I just decided to put a pistol grip on a 20ga ( I just bought )
Any parts needed ?
I figure it will cost a few dollars to complete, but as I am STILL working most every weekend ( and have for 3 years! ) the slush fund is in excellent shape.
OTOH - my ammo usage has fallen to zilch:banghead:

I dont know about a 20g shotgun but I did one convert myself on a rifle. Was so hard because I didnt tap the slot before I drilled. Big mess, lesson learned, tap the holes before you drill(make sure you can see some dents or else it will be hard) Took only a few hours to fully convert after 3 days work trying to drill out the holes

Yes you must follow 922(r) make sure you have tapco g2 trigger system(USA MADE) installed + US MADE pistol grip and US made buttstock total 5 parts USA made added, I think shotgun its 1 more or 1 less I do not know. Check with the site posted above ^ Sam nailed it

Tapco trigger system is a drop in + file off some of the edge.

Even the Saiga skeleton stock dramatically improves the gun's handling. The default stock tends to slap you in the ear when the gun is brought up quickly. I'm toying with converting my Saiga 12. I already did my Saiga .223. The Saiga 12 just doesn't seem front heavy enough to justify the conversion.

All Saigas convert the same, save the 12ga model.

There are several good videos on youtube and vimeo that explain how.

All saiga's covert similarly I would not say that are all the same however. As I know you are very aware, some have PG holes already some do not, the 308 is slightly different, etc.

But yes they are all pretty similar.

Forgive my memories. There was once a time when no PG holes could be found on a factory Saiga.

If one goes in expecting to cut a PG hole and finds their rifle already has one, that's just gravy.

Thanks all.
I was looking at a Bosis shotgun and ended up with the saiga 20.
Less 'splaining to the wife.
