Oddly, the 619 replaced the 65 just several years ago - and is already out of the latest catalog! Basically, it and the adjustable sighted version, the 620 - which replaced the 66, have an L-frame, which is thicker at the frame front to fit a larger OD barrel and forcing cone. This alleviates a perceptual forcing cone etching problem the K-frames could suffer from with excessive light bullet/high velocity .357M's. The cylinder opening is taller, permitting the fitting of the 7-shot cylinder, which both the 619/620 are fitted with. The gripframes are identical to the K-frames - the grips are interchangeable between K & L frames. Where many of the K-frames, like the 65 & 66, came with rounded or squared two piece Uncle Mike's Combat grips, which enclose the backstrap, the 619 & 620, I believe, have the 'usual' Hogue monogrips, leaving that backstrap bare. They also have the newer two piece barrel/liner - and the partial lug of the 65/66 - a high mark for that, in my opinion.
I'd say you have a highly desireable holster .357M - with 7-shot capability. If it follows tradition, it's sights will be regulated for 158gr .357M's at 15yd or so. It's always fun trying to find what ammo hits coincident POI/POA at what distance. My first change would be the grips - some nice Ahrends cocobolo stocks - but that's me. Congratulations on a great firearm!
