Please tell me about the Sig 239

I posted a thread like this here a bit ago and got nothing but positive responses about the P239. I was in a gun store last week end and noticed that they still had a P239 in .40 that I had looked at some time before. I made a low ball offer and I guess they really needed to move that gun, because they took it.
It was dead accurate out of the box, like my other Sigs, actually it shot better than my 226 in .40. Also, like my other Sigs, it is a "soft" shooter with much less felt recoil than comparable guns. My girl friend sticks to 9mm because of the recoil, but loves the P239, and shoots it very well. She put a hundred rounds through it last weekend and quit when the ammo was all gone, not before. Fortunately I had already run my 200 rounds through it before I let her try it.
I also have an M&P .40 compact, and while I like that gun and shoot it pretty well, the felt recoil is noticeably greater.

i have a 239 sas dak in 40. I love the thing it shoots well has never
hiccupped in the 8 months i've had it.accurate and conceals pretty well.
I am now carrying a naa guardian ..i am a little subconsious about the 239
in summer but i have put it at 4pm under a t shirt and my buddy
could not see it.He knew i was carrying but thought i had a shoulder rig
under my t shirt:) so i guess it fooled him and he was looking.
although this is a smallish pistol I would not consider it a pocket gun,,
I agree that the hogue will tend to catch your shirt.
I just bought some CT lasergrips for it .tried them out and
they seem fine so far.I still like the factory wood grips though.
the gun looks good with them on.Wish they made a 10 round mag for the 40.
