Hi Guys,

For those of you who pocket carry regularly, do you carry in your strong or weak side pocket?

Does it matter if it's your primary vs. your back up?

I don't carry often, but it's usually on a strong side hip holster. For times when I need deeper concealment, I'm considering front pants pocket carry. I'm trying to decide on which side. If it were for a BUG, I think I'd prefer weak side carry with my primary on my strong side. If it's for my only weapon, I think strong side pocket carry would be best. However, I don't want to have to get two different pocket holsters and have to remember which pocket my weapon is in...especially if TSHTF, so I think weak side pocket carry all the time is best for me whether it's my primary or BUG.

Any other opinions?

Thanks

I carry strong side. The only thing had to learn was to not put loose change, candy, keys or anything else in the pocket w/ my carry piece. Could get awkward when you take out your keys & out falls a gun :what: I've learned "dedicated" pocket carry ;)

If its your primary, carry it strong side. If its your back up, carry it weak side. Don't use that pocket for anything else. You know its there. It applies light pressure to your leg all day. Not annoying, but you know which pocket it is in.

Strong side, rear pocket, butt forward, in wallet holster.

Draw is smooth, and to a potential bg, looks like I'm going to pull out my wallet.

Nobody seems to notice I have two "wallets." :D

Strong side.

If used as a backup, I can understand carrying weakside but I still carry it in the right front pocket whether it's primary or backup.
