Pocket carry with 642

What type of holster do you guys/gals suggest to use with pocket carrying a S&W 642??

I like the square cut because it keeps the grip (or stock, if you prefer) forward so it is easier to quickly acquire a full firing grip (or hold, if you prefer) with the trigger finger straight before beginning the draw.

I have tried a bunch of pocket holsters and like the Mika best. But I suspect everyone has to go through the process.

I use a Galco pocket holster for my 642 but in cargo pants or Dockers the holster will come out with the gun.I'm looking for a replacement so I'll be watching your thread closely.Thanks.tom.

I Pocket Carry a 340 with a

Mika Roundcut. Don't leave home without it.

642/340 are the same format, J Frame Centennial so they carry virtually the same. The 340 being lighter.

I tried a DeSantis Nemesis. I would use it as a second place choice if the Mika wasn't around.

Mika Round Cut in most pants, Desantis Nemesis in the others. Depends on which pants pocket (since they're cut differently at the bottom). Having said that, if I had both a Mika Round Cut and Square Cut, the Nemesis wouldn't get out much. My $.02.

Took me about 2.5 months from order to get it (Mr Mika got behind a little due to some local flooding), but this thing is great

I have an Uncle Mikes that I didn't like because it tipped over in my pocket. I picked up a Desantis Nemesis, and I love it.
