Pocket carrying a spare magazine

What magazine pouches/carriers are you all using for carrying a spare mag in the pocket? I've been using one made by DeSantis but I'm not a huge fan. It does the job but the angle it holds the magazine at is suboptimal, at least in my opinion. Any recommendations?

I carry a Kahr PM9 7-round mag in the watch pocket of my jeans inside to the leather sheath from a $4 sharpening stone that I bought at Wal-Mart about 10 years ago. Works great. When wearing slacks without the watch pocket I carry the same size mag on my belt using a suede Case Knife sheath. Looks like I have a multi-tool there.

I don't carry mags that way, but if I did, I'd be inclined to carry them is something like the pocket mag carrier from Milt Sparks.

I really like the neomag pocket clip. It works very well at keeping the magazine quick and easy to grab.

I use nylon or leather knife pouches to pocket/belt carry magazines.

I have some pouches from Victorinox knives. If anyone sees it they think it's a Swiss Army knife. I buy them at the stores or on Amazon.

I used the same pocket magazine carrier for awhile. I didn't like a magazine taking up so much real estate in my front pocket, which is normally where I keep my EDC flashlight. Carrying a double stack magazine was particularly bulgy. I found an elastic magazine pouch to carry a single or double stack magazine IWB with just an added belt clip from my holster maker.

If you want to stick to pocket carry, the only real option is to pick a different magazine carrier. I have always liked this magazine from Alabama holsters. Holds the magazine more of a vertical instead of at an off grab angle.

LCP mag fits in the watch pocket of my jeans, I use a remora mag pouch tucked between belt and jeans for bigger mags.

I don't usually carry spare mags, opting for a larger gun instead if dressed so I could hide the extra bulk and weight, but I do have a cell phone carrier that nicely holds a pair of S&W Shield mags for those infrequent occasions.

Yep, protect the feed lips better than being in a pocket

I just ordered kydex pocket mag carriers from pj holsters for my shield and my LCP II. I'll report back after I've tested them.
