Pocket holster Suggestions

One more plug for Robert Mika. I have one for my 642, PM9, and P3AT. They do not make a fashion statement, but they work great, and stay in the pocket. Plus the standard version is $18.95 + $3.00 shipping. IMO it's one of the best deals out there.

I've got a Desantis Nemesis for my J-frame Smith. It's a great holster that breaks up printing, stays in your pocket, and keeps lint out of your barrel. It's also easily available so your wait time should be minimal.

Mika & DeSaints seem to be the ones most pick. I personally have Desaints Nemisis for both my 642 and 442.

I've had a Hedley front pocket holster for my P-32 for years and his reputation is well deserved. I bought it used, too. Unfortunately he is temporarily not taking orders, so I ordered one of Ron Graham's back pocket holsters for my Rohrbaugh. I like it a lot after a month or two and will be using him again.

I'm happy with the $12 Uncle Mike's pocket holster for my Taurus 605. I don't know how it works with the autos you mentioned.

+1 on the nemisis...after a while the barrel began the stick out the bottom...a couple of stiches in front of the trigger guard will make it last forever....gpr

The Mika works beautifully with my Kahr PM9.

Although similar in design and concept, the Uncle Mike's is "generic" and is not made for a specific firearm. When I tried one with that gun, the material blocked my second finger from sliding up under the trigger guard for a full grasp on the gun.

The Galco "pocket proctector holster" has worked well for me carrying a 1911 springfield microcompact. That is once I figured out to bend the metal stiffiner of the holster mouth to the conture of my gun. Before I made the adjustment it was digging into my leg and I was about to throw it away (or actually in the box of "holsters I bought that didn't work for me"--Does anyone else have a box like that?)

At .78" wide, 5.2" long, and 11oz fully loaded w/ 7 rounds... its tough to beat in a Desantis holster (for your back pocket) and a Don Hume (for your front pocket). Good Luck!

I like the Galco for my Colt DS. It would also work for your Smith. It is rather big though. More for a jacket than a normal pair of pants. One benefit it is looks like a big wallet, and shifting it in and out of pocket raises few eyebrows if you conceal the stocks with your hand.

I have one of the Ron Graham riveted cookie holsters for my Guardian. It fits and carries well. Stays in pocket when drawn.

It also has a niced NAA embossed logo on the back side.

I got mine from palehorse holsters (linked above).

It was 16.00 shipped to my front door within a week.

Another vote for Mika. Great product, great service, great price. I have a few pocket holsters for my 101, I like Mika's the best - it's no contest.

Another for Mika, you can pull the 642 out and all you have is gun in hand ready for use, one hand only, :)
