Pocket stuff.

I always want on my belt

1 Gun (rear right)
1 large/medium sheathed folder (front right)
1 sheathed flashlight (left)
1 extra magazine (rear left)

In my rear right pocket I want as thin a wallet as possible with only my ID/CHL and a credit card. I want only a house, gun safe and car key in my left pocket and whatever is currently the smallest cell phone I can find that doesn't look/feel like it will break if dropped in my right.

Basically I want to carry as little bulk and weight as possible, heck I don't even carry a mail key.

Currently I am trying to get used to keeping my wallet in the left rear pocket. This way I don't have to worry about flashing my gun while paying for something and I am thinking about pocket carrying a LCP in that pocket.

Too much stuff...
SAK
Camillus Hawkbill
Imco Triplex (world's most reliable lighter, don't smoke but carry it on principle)
Wallet/ Blackberry/Keys/Access Card (yeah, I don't go anywhere w/o any of those)
Casio G-Shock Atomic Solar (more reliable than the Rolex my wife gave me, light, never needs a battery, sets itself to the atomic clock once a day, indestructible- what's not to like?)
Nail clippers/chapstick
Sheaffer Targa fountain pen
Ballpoint pen

If I'm not at work at the courthouse:
S&W CS9/ Beretta 21
Superknife folding utility knife

Imco Triplex (world's most reliable lighter, don't smoke but carry it on principle)

p35,

I consider myself "a married man, forsaking al others" (Doc Holliday - Tombstone).

I travel a lot on business and always have a lighter on me. You'd be surprised how many times a lighter has put me in the good graces of the fairer sex while out (after business hours) with clients and co-workers. I try to tell the non-smokers to carry one whether they smoke or not. Do ya think they'd listen? :D

Chris

In these parts smoking is basically verboten everywhere, and women who smoke turn me off. Even so, there's always 550 cord, campfires, wood stoves, or something that needs a light.

That looks strangely like an alwilliam picture...

I've since switched to a Moore Maker Serpentine Stockman. I've also started to carry my Pocket Briefcase International again. It has to be carried in the front pocket, but once you get used to it, you get used to having all the accessories you can carry with it. I've pretty much stopped carrying an SAK- I have a Swisscard, sans knife, in there. It's got a screwdriver, pin, pen, sciccors, flashlight, tweezers. I took the knife out because I carry this at school, NC has a no fixed blade law, and anything that tiny knife can do, the sciccors can do, besides whittle. I also have a P-51, which I need to figure out how to use as a bottle opener, and several Band-Aids. The Fisher Bullet Pen rides in its compartment, along with 3x5 cards.

Here's my EDC list (let me know if I forget anything):

Truck keys connected to Inova Mini-light w/ a two-ring push-button connector.
Truck alarm fob connected to house keys same way (I hate getting locked out of my truck).
Card fold connected to Leatherman Micra same way.
Coin pouch for change, cash, extra battery for I1, extra truck key, safety pins, & other small objects...connected to my Inova I1 on a carabiner (real one, not the cheap Chinese ones).
Writing pen or three (I do lots of documentation on the job).
Cough drops (allergies).
Wet Ones Handi-Wipes (2) individually wrapped. (good for cleaning hands and stains on clothing).
CRKT Crawford-Kasper Folder IWB. (Sometimes traded out w/ Benchmade fixed-blade....don't remember name...may trade for a CRKT Razel or Cop-Tool).

Need to find a good mini-firestarter to complete the package (tried a mini-Bic, but the fluid kept leaking out). Blast-Match, perhaps?

I like the belt pouch idea. Any other suggestions for a belt pouch I should check out?.....

Thanks in advance.... :D

Jah,

Good Doug, man! You carry all that every day?! Just the Chinook alone would cover any knife tasks I can envision, except perhaps not scaring sheeple when I sliced my oranges. It also functions just fine as an impact tool.
