The obvious does not require evidence,except maybe in your mind.

It’s obvious only in your fantasy world. In the real world we need evidence because it’s not actually obvious.

The homeowner's training was sufficient to keep him safe from the intruder, if there was a training insufficiency, it was training that would keep him safe from law enforcement, and that training deficit could be seen as applying to more than one actor, ESPECIALLY if the officer acted in accordance to policy and their actions were justified.
