No, not the 9000.

This from the Beretta Forums

I heard recently, from a fairly reliable source, that we will be seeing a totally new pistol introduced at the SHOT show in Feb. It will be available in both full size and compact, and in all four popular calibers. That was all I got for now!

...snip...

The pistol I was referring to is not the full steel Vertec. It is a polymer framed pistol in 9/40/45/.357 Sig and in full size and compact variants. Only 6 weeks to the SHOT Show, I promise to post pics to the forum as soon as I can get them uploaded.

I really hope the mags are compatible with the 92 series. It'll be a major turnoff if they aren't. Hopefully priced to compete with the Glock and XDs.

...or no safety at all like the HK LEM or Sig K-Trigger.

I can't see Beretta not doing mag compatibility with the 92...unless they make them compatible with the Cougar--as we see 4 calibers, not 2, here.

They even went out of their way to make the 9000 and Storm compatible so I think there's a good chance they'll do it.

I hope the thing is 28-ish ounces or less.

George...I am. If I can have a Langdonized lightweight pistol that takes the same mags as my 92, I'm in.
