Any one know of a spot I can go and shoot something other than paper (I can shoot all the paper I can bear in my living room with airsoft) but just soda cans bottles of water or cheso soda those little rubber targets that move when ya shoot them. and up around the Ben Avery area if at all possible (the leave with more than you brought applys as always

Hey Alexander, I'm in the same area. Normally Table Mesa would be the closest spot to you, but it's not like it used to be. You really have to get much further back.

On Carefree Highway, you can find a few spots that hug the mountain to set up and shoot. You'll find by mile marker 6ish a turn off that if you follow it North you'll quickly see many old shot computers, propane tanks, ect..... I'm worried this will be the next spot that is closed due to garbage. You have to be careful you don't enter BLM land, as there is a lot of hunting out in the same area. As long as you don't cross a fence with signage saying no target shooting you're ok.

Thank you I live more south central phoenix but my gf lives out that way I mosty just want a spot she can learn to shoot, that's fun not just paper and with out a Ro climbing up some ones back side every 10 minutes as it can be rather un-nerving and she's skittish enough with out some ding bat with a blow horn

With all that said getting together for a shoot does sound like fun granted I don't have a lot to bring out as I'm just getting back in

Look for BLM land. It's a great place to shoot if it's anywhere close to you.
