I found a new to me online retailer, Guns and Ammo Superstore, that was offering a free shipping coupon (over $100). And they had all my calibers in stock to choose from at a reasonable price, including 22mag (which I've had a hard time finding for less that ~$20).
Two boxes from my order were out of stock when my order went to shipping. This has happened fairly regularly to me with the increased demand, from various retailers, so I wasn't upset.
I was actually happy with their response and it turned out to my advantage. I placed my order Monday evening. A rep contacted me by email and phone the next morning to discuss the problem and options. When we talked she had my package in front of her, and I decided on replacement items rather than the refund. Without being asked, she threw in an extra box of 9mm. The package shipped that day and arrived Friday.
What I appreciated: prompt personal communication and resolution. Friendliness. No reference to increased demand as an excuse. And the bonus, even though I was already saving on shipping.
Anyway, it might be another one to browse when you are low on ammo.
