Instead of being saddled with the title, why not use RKI(Reasonably Knowledgeable Individual) instead? It avoids foot in the mouth syndrome and encourages participation by members that might not be true experts, but do have something to contribute..,....

Reminds me too ... ever hear the comparison between research, and development.??

Development is a logical progression, but like the development of a baby thru gestation .. all very linear and logical.
Research is more like tryin to make 9 women pregnant - to get a baby in a month's time!!

never an expert , had too many jobs to be one , I can teach you how to drive a big rig ,do the rules and regs bit , load and unload the thing but by the time I get good at it they change the rules .. and I am a jack of all trades type master of none.. billions of people on this earth and we are all different . so no experts
