A Taurus 327 Magnum, shooting 32 Smith and Wesson Long with 85 grain bullets is a fun. Just a little more snap than a 22 LR. Shooting 327 Magnum, Hornaday "Critical Defense" 85 grain FTX, is a pretty snappy little number (recoil wise).
But they can't hold a candle to a 220 grain Berry's, on top of a near max load of Unique, fired from a Charter Arms Bulldog in 44 Special.
Let me tell you boys and girls. That will get your attention.
Note to self. A lighter load, and bullet, next time. Save the heavy stuff for the Model 29.
