Multiple gunsht wounds of any kind, even a .22 pistol, to the chest can kill anyone.

"Home defense" is different from "assassination", though.

I have two revolvers that do defense duty around the house.

The old Iver Johnson .38 is permanently housed in a hidden nook by one of the doors. I leave it there, just in case. The H&R DA 676 (.22 WMR) goes in a night table. I also have a 9x18 Makarov, which is also used primarily for home defense. I have other, more powerful handguns but these last two I can point shoot well. I figure if I have to defend myself in the dark and half asleep, I should go with the ones I shoot best without relying on the sights.

what Marshall has pictured, but mine has a bit more "charactor" markings on it....

41+ ounces of home defense!

Heres my S&W Model 28-2. Fits me like a glove... or is it the other way around. It's also solid enough for my wife to use if need be.

S&W 66 with 125gr .357s on the nightstand.

Marlin 1894 with same ammo in the corner.

If 15 rounds of .357 aren't going to save my bacon, it's doubtful anything short of an airstrike will.

Nice grips, Erik!

Here are two of my house revo's, a Smith 65 and a Rossi 720, 357 and 44, respectively. I think the three-inch barrels are perfect for lots of uses, but CCW and home defense primarily. Woe be unto the BG who tries to grab the barrel!

I don't have a picture handy, but I'm sure you guys have seen 'em... the good 'ol Ruger GP100 with a six pack of 357 maggies.

This is my interim gun until I can get my 12 MW hand-held laser blaster working. I am having a hard time attaining FCC compliance with the osculating magnetic charge conductor. But when I am done... whoa momma. ;)

Yeap it has the Clinton hole in the side but I trust my life with it. If me and the wife can't keep the bad guy away with this and her Glock 22, we fall back to the 870 Shot gun.

Mr.Revolverguy...

Does the .10MM produce more enegery then the .357 Magnum? And can it function properly without moonclips? Thanks, and safe shooting!

You got one beautiful revolver! ;)

I will let the experts answer the ballistics of the 357 and 10MM :). With 10MM in this revolver you do not need the moon clips. You only need moon clips if you are going to fire 40S&W in it.

This should give you a good idea of its capabilities. What I like about it is the recoil very similar to 45ACP in my 625JM, smooth soft push. This makes follow up shots a breeze. My only problem is that my wife likes it very much as well. So I am afraid of the day she walks in and says honey the 610 is mine now. :)

Mr. Revolverguy...

Thanks for clearing that up! I shouldv'e mentioned this earlier but how does it shoot?

Works way better than I imagined. I like to carry in my front pants pocket.
