the best propelant i've found for a spudzooka as my best friend calls them is just wonderful hair spray.... cheap stuff from the dollar store... that is after propane..... i have some apples around here so i shoot apples out of mine......
you are a good man libshooter young minds have to be moulded.... you can't use too much propellent or they don't work as well.............
i have been shooting spuds for nearly 20 years and have played with many sizes and configurations of guns and systems only one gun has had a catastrophic incident i was using a coleman lantern type flint wheel .ign and hairspray but the gun had been outside in 28degree maine winter air all day
i have now started to use the .ign from a new brinkman grill the electronic one thats like a mini stun gun because it is strong enough to light a good load very dependable and easy to wire as for the gas i wave started using PROPANE NOT MAPP gas cut the 2 foot rubber hose off an old grill the one from the tank to the valve with heat control use the regulator that screws on the tank and give it about a 4 to 8 second load <less is more > hearty boom more = pretty flames out the tip this setup has proven the cleanest safest and by far most dependable combo yet
maine tatters have been on sale here in maine for 50 pounds for like 10 bucks
