Powder Measure Mounting Feedback Wanted

The mount you show looks fine to me. Unless you need to remove the powder measure to empty it.

I use the LNL system and I have my measure mounted with an extra unused died so that the press with the mount just goes on and off the press just like changing a die. I snap it on the press, fill it, use it, and unsnap it and dump the powder.

I sincerely disagree. IMHO all powder hoppers give better results with a "powder baffle" in place.
This is one reason why RCBS has back-tracked and is now offering powder baffles.

And RBCS always show photos with the "hole" up .... If you use your meter with the "hole" up ....you probably gonna need a baffle ...

But ....if you mount with the "hole" down as I posted.... I have found that there is no need for a battle .....I have been working with the Uniflow in the photo in the photo since 1969 and I have tried every way under the Sun and in "my opinion" . ..I get better results just the way it is ... Opinions are like eyeholes .... most folks have two ....

""hole" up"

Well, I at least finally figured out what you are talking about. Clever.

Bought a new Uniflow that came with a baffle. I got tired of dumping the baffle back out with the powder so I often do not use the baffle. I only do runs of 50 on a single stage with the measure mounted on the provided mount. So far I have only loaded Trail Boss through it and I do get some variation. But about the same with or without the baffle it seems.

OK I gotta ask what is hole up and hole down? Are you talking about the baffle?
