Powder valley shipping.

I ordered 2 boxes of primers and a pound of powder last Monday. It's Tuesday evening and no shipping update yet. I'm beginning to wonder but I'm not in a hurry either.
Was all your items on the order in stock? On certain items, if out of stock when selected, will put the whole order on hold until the out-of-stock item comes in.

Edit, I should ask. You are talking about Monday, 3-7-16, yes?

I placed my last PV order 3/5, received an invoice 3/11, UPS shows picked up 3/14, delivery scheduled for 3/18.

I've only ordered from them three or four times, but the above seems pretty standard for PV.

Remember, they can only ship so many lbs of powder a day - just the way it is.

I've bought from them with no issues, but I can't buy enough at once to justify the hazmat fee. I'll either buy my powders and primers locally or do without, I can't stomach that $28.50 fee for 1 or 2 lbs of powder. The government-imposed "rape fee".
The Hazmat fee isn't required by the government, this fee was the brain child of UPS and FedEx.
The USDOT doesn't require UPS or FedEx to put placards on their delivery trucks, because they aren't hauling anything that is actually under the hazardous materials laws.
I've driven an eighteen wheeler my entire adult life and have a hazmat license endorsement.

UPS and FedEx deliver all kinds of consumer items that are more dangerous than gunpowder and primers, yet they don't charge Hazmat Fees for them.
