do I have to have a copy of my ID and ammo statement on file with them to just order bullets no powder or primers yet I would like to take advantage of their 10% off help please

Sad to see all of that rust and decay. I guess it makes the ones that I have a little more valuable. I guess it would have put a BIG dent in commercial sales if that stuff were still on the market for hobbyists to build target and hunting guns on the actions. But, Whatcha gonna do. Time marches on.

Nope

You're good to go.....great folks to do business with. I try to save up until I need powder and primers in qty, as well as bullets, to offset the hazmat tax....

I only have to buy a couple of thousand primers in order to equalize the cost of buying from the lgs.....

Yep, this is a great place to deal with. I love this place. I've ordered bullets from them for a while now, but I just placed my first order with primers and powder today. I don't reload enough to buy a huge quantity, so it's hard for me to justify buying tons of primers and powder, when a couple pounds of powder, and a 1000 primers lasts me at least a year. With what I ordered today the discount will pretty much offset the hazmat fee.

Powder Valley is a great company to do business with,me and a few of the local guys do group buys on powder and primers. That way it only ends up adding about $10 on average to our individual orders.

What "10% off"? Is there a coupon code or something?
It was actually for July 4th only from 12AM to 11:59PM any orders placed would receive 10% off. They mentioned it on their site, but they said that you wouldn't see the discount on their site, but they would add it later on manually. I'm assuming the invoice they send you will include the discount. You didn't have to enter any coupon codes or anything, just order.

Yeah, the 10% off sale has ended. They had it on their page, and their facebook. I got in an order for 3k Berry Bullets I needed. Havent recieved the official invoice yet, but I am sure it will be there when I get it.

I got lucky, because when I ordered, I was unaware of the 10% off. My stuff is scheduled for delivery today. Yippee.

Do they even ask for the ID when you are buying powder and primers? I ordered 4# of Intl Clays and a brick of primers when I saw the sale, but didn't see that part. Even though it was a small amount, the difference in price on the powder alone paid for the hazmat.

@ArchAngel sorry I worded that wrong some companies require that you send in a copy of your ID and a signed piece of paper that says your old enough to buy ammo or components I read on there that you have to send that in to buy product from them heres the quote off their site

"FFL'S ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED. However, Non-FFL'S must send a copy of your driver's license and a statement that the storage does not violate any Federal, State or Local Laws. If you have a FFL, we would like a copy. Please include your Phone Number."

so i was wondering if you had to send that in before you buy just the bullets

I've never sent that stuff, and have ordered powder from them a few times. A couple months ago most recently.

I got in on it. It was enough to pay for shipping & Hazmat shy of $2. I was going to order last week but they were out of what I wanted & I just happened to stumble onto the deal.

Well crap, I just placed an order on 29 Jun for over $500. Ten percent off would have been nice to know about.

Anyways, I ordered bullets, powder and primers. No id or statement required.

In the invoice they sent me for my July 4th order, it showed the 10% off... Sadly they had to split my 3000 bullet order into 2 shipments, so my discount was equal to about the shipping cost, had I known they were going to spit into 2 shipments, I would have ordered another 1k bullets since shipping on the 2nd order would have been the same.

Still a great deal, and shipping was still pretty cheap considering the weight, but this is an instance i wish their website would have shown that before placing the order so I could have maximized everything.

"but this is an instance i wish their website would have shown that before placing the order so I could have maximized everything"

I agree.

My discount was shown on the PDF file they sent me. I had just backed out of a order on the 30th of June because they didn't have everything I wanted. I was checking to see if they were back in stock when I stumbled on the discount & went ahead & ordered even tho they didn't have all I wanted.
