I’m really debating on buying an 8lb of 2400 from Midway. In no way do I need it but….

Well, at the very least it was a PSA to the forum. ;)

$32 for Unique???… I’d buy that all day long at that price.

Yeah, this store owner is very fair with his pricing. He is mostly a shotgun component store, but, has other handloading things also. He has a very loyal local customer base. He doesn't ship and doesn't sell firearms. I guess that keeps his overhead down. Great little shop.

does he have black powder?

It's good to see it back on the shelves hopefully H4350 will come down in price I see it online for $45 dollars per pound. Not terrible if you're out of hunting rounds but not near stocking up prices.

I was at a work conference in Hot Springs yesterday and stopped by a local shop looking for 2400.
Didn't find any, but did pick up a pound of H110. I was glad to get it, but not so glad to pay $38 for it. It's the most I've ever paid, but loading .44 mag and .357 mag is still much cheaper even paying that, so I did.

They had any primer you wanted.......................for $13.99/100. I passed on those. I've got a couple thousand left, so I'll ride it out a little longer.

Well 2400, Unique and Red Dot are shotgun powders after all. Lucky for you for sure.
