Yes I know there are good reasons not to ankle carry, but woke workplaces demand DEEP concealment. I love my Galco "Ankle Glove" for my J frame but Galco says it won't fit a US made PPK. Does anyone know why not? Their CS didn't answer why not when I asked.
There must be some dimensional differences... what are they?

I ankle carried a PPK-S for decades, as a backup to my 1911. I used a custom Alessi ankle rig for it, worked great.

Current US made PPK’s have a much larger ducktail than the European guns, so the Galco thumb break strap won’t fit. Older Interarms licensed PPK’s have smaller ducktails, and will probably work with the Galco.

So, it depends on what you have.

Ah, I wondered if it was the beavertail. Mine is a very early S&W, before they extended it. So it might fit the Galco after all. Their CS said this:
Thank you for your interest in Galco holsters. Unfortunately, If it’s US made it will not fit.
Not all that informative, ya ask me.

Terminology (some of which is deprecated/out of favor)

Ducktail - Curved up and same or less width as the frame section from which it depends.
Beavertail- Flatter and wider than a ducktail, as found on a modern 1911.
Duckbill- Often slightly wider than a ducktail, but not as wide as a beavertail, and straight or curved slightly down.

I have had a few Interarms and S&W PPK's, German PP, shot a Franco-German PPK, etc.

yes most likely the beaver tail "issue", maybe the strap wont snap?

If you wear a suit jacket, or can wear an un-tucked shirt there is no reason not to carry on the belt, with the flat mag base it will simply not print.

The lucky gunner article is wrong BTW. .32 ACP = 7.65 as printed on the gun and magazine, not 7.62.

I can’t imagine the weight on the ankle all day. I have however thought a keltec p32 ankle carried would be a wonderful deep concealment gun, so not too terrible far off.
