Prayer Request

Lost my Mom in November and just heard from my Dad today that he is in the hospital. Looks bad. I will be remembering you and your Father in my thoughts and prayers. I could use it too....

Psalm 41

1 How blessed is he who considers the helpless; The LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble.
2 The LORD will protect him and keep him alive, And he shall be called blessed upon the earth; And do not give him over to the desire of his enemies.
3 The LORD will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health.
4 As for me, I said, “O LORD, be gracious to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.”
5 My enemies speak evil against me, “When will he die, and his name perish?”
6 And when he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood; His heart gathers wickedness to itself; When he goes outside, he tells it.
7 All who hate me whisper together against me; Against me they devise my hurt, saying,
8 “A wicked thing is poured out upon him, That when he lies down, he will not rise up again.”
9 Even my close friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.
10 But You, O LORD, be gracious to me and raise me up, That I may repay them.
11 By this I know that You are pleased with me, Because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.
12 As for me, You uphold me in my integrity, And You set me in Your presence forever.
13 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, From everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.

May God Bless you in times of trouble.

I Know Its Hard Too Do

but try not too worry BIG, as your THR family stands firm by your side;
and with your dad. Prayers are hereby sent from the great state of AL,
wishing you and yours well in the coming days.

The sur-name PRIEST is a household name with me; as one of The
University Of Tennessee's out-standing football lettermen was non
other than Tim Priest; who other than an athlete, was an outstanding
person.

I don't believe in prayer but I can sure feel your sorrow during these times.

My dad passed 4 years ago and, for me, the worst has been long after he passed. I think of how he brought my brother & me hunting & fishing 35-40 weekends out of every year. He didn't believe in sending us to "organized sports" or "camps". He brought us and taught us himself. He had ethics and a passion for the outdoors that he instilled in us. I miss him every time I hunt, shoot, fish or think about any of the above - that means that I miss about him a lot!

Wow.. on our forums, the better answer that you would get would be that, of course, God, doesnt exist.

On my side, i won't say that.

I whish your father all the best, and I really hope that everything will improve for him. I have been through similar worries earlier in my life so I know he will be better !

Your Dad

I live in Dallas, about 2 hours north of Round Rock. I will pray for your dad and may the Lord Jesus bless his needs with answered prayers and lifted burdens.

BTW, the IRS officially hates me too.
