Pre-'64 M70 Butt Plate to Recoil Pad?

Is there a recoil pad that can be installed on a Model 70 that presently has the plastic butt plate? The end of the stock is curved/concave a bit, but it does not have a recurve or a relief cut the way some of the metal plated stocks had. It's an early 60's M70 stock with the lower quality checkering, but I still want to keep it original without taking chop saw to it. I could just use a slip-on pad, but I seem to recall there was a bolt-on pad made to fit these without modifying the stock. I mostly need the extra length-of-pull. It kicks pretty hard, 'bout like 12 ga, but I don't shoot it a lot.
