Paint (by WWGuns in AL) is ATACS hydro dip and background is my ATACS FG shooting mat. I don't know how well ATACS will really conceal someone, but it dang sure keeps my iphone from focusing. It actually looks a little more green in person too.

To be honest I bought two Geissele triggers for this build and another one. I can't seem to find them. My parts drawers are pretty discombobulated

Try botach tactical, (I know a dirty word to many) however they have been getting fail zeros often

If you order from botach, keep an eye on your bank account afterwards. Last time I used Botach, I started getting fraudulent activity notices from my bank. So did two of my friends who ordered from them. I called Botach to let them know someone was intercepting their customer's payment info. A woman (strong accent) in customer service said that they weren't doing it so they didn't care.

The ATACS paint on the rifle looks great. The background, however, looks more like OCP ("Multicam") to me.

I just completed an LR-.308 Ar-10 and put an American Trigger in it. I have several friends that are serious marksman and they all really liked the trigger and compared it to their top brands as very favorable. AT started producing an AR-10 trigger and at the point I was looking, I had paid attention to building a rifle with American Made parts, so for me the AT was the option that I chose. I'm very happy with the choice.

So when I bought the barrel for this rifle I actually got 2 (well 4 but I split them with a friend) and I'm starting the second build now and planning to do it in the ATACS green pattern. So I have a question for you guys...

Instead of a bcm forged upper (8oz-ish) + and 14" dd lite upper (17oz) I could use a vltor Vis 12" monolithic (29oz) which is 2" shorter and an oz or two heavier but has a stiffer receiver and is aesthetically cool and $150 more.

Which would you pick?


(btw I put an extreme trigger in it. I don't like it at all. Nothing like the awesome extreme bolt gun trigger. Still working on a bcg though I see the jp ones are in stock now. )
