really cool bi-pod...Nice gun too.

Thanks! She can shoot, too. :)

Best string I've shot was 196-12x but don't have a pic of that one handy. :(

Self built CZ455 trainer. It started as a synthetic American model.

I inletted, pillar and glass bedded the Boyd's Tacticool stock. Did the urban digital in Duracoat. Added weight to the butt to help with balance.

Cut the barrel back a 1/2 inch re-crowned and threaded the muzzle 1/2x28 and made a thread protector.

Cerakoted the barreled action in Sniper Gray, did some custom bolt work and coated it Graphite Black.

Reworked and shimmed the trigger to remove creep and weight. The poundage is still right at 3 lbs but breaks nicely now.

Added a US Optics SN-3 Tpal 3.2x17 in Badger rings sitting atop a DIP 25 moa rail. I can stretch this rig out to 400 yards by dialing in with this combination.

Suppressed with a AAC Prodigy

Finding target ammo to feed it is a bit tough though but it has shot in the .1's at 50 yards with Eley Match Rifle with 5 shot groups.

All in all I am pleased with they way it turned out and how it shoots. With bipod it tips the scales at 13lbs 1oz

dang dude. i never know whether to be more impressed with your rifle or photography skills.

that's an awesome little trainer

Trent that SCAR is a beauty too, damn I like that.

I need to do a new set of standalone pictures for it. I've discarded the factory folding stock and put on a Troy Industries EMOD. Took a custom adapter to pull it off (SCAR has no buffer tube...)

The cheekweld on the original stock really sucked.. and the folding components pinched my cheek and bruised my cheekbone under recoil. I can also weight the new stock to balance it better.

Only real pic I have of the new setup.

LTsdtZ6h.jpg

I did a practice run on it and only shot a 152/200 in midrange prone (sling, not bipod). Forgot to set parallax on my damn scope and put down a group centered in the 8 ring... sigh. Got in a hurry and made a rookie mistake. :)

Eyes are too crappy for irons right now, need a new eyeglass prescription. Been 4 years since I've had them updated.

The rifle is capable of putting down some pretty spectacular groups. Very first handload was sub MOA, haven't done full ladder testing yet to find one that it really likes. Shortage of match grade 308 components kind of held up the show on development last year.

nice Michael! what do you think of the Kahles? They are very rapidly becoming popular here. I had the opportunity to meet the owner at a match last year but don't know anyone who has owned one more than about 6 months.

Sorry for the late reply. I think the Kahles is very good. Maybe a very little bit brighter than my NF competetion...
It took Kahles one year to deliver... that part sucked...:D

5-shot group at 50 yards:
smallest_group.jpg

Rarely shoots 5-shot groups greater than 0.25" at 50 yards. Very consistent. Took 2nd place in 2012 in Unlimited class benchrest in Texas.

This isn't my rifle, but it belongs to a good friend that owns the land where I shoot.
National Match M1A, SS 10x with side focus on a Sadlak mount. I got to shoot it today at 100 and 300 yards and it is sweet. 3 shots at 300 were right at 2".
