I forgot t mention it, I have shot a lot of it in .45 ACP.I have been dabbling with Accurate #2
lol, I see that from time to time, but I had great luck with it in .38 Spl and .44 Spl accuracy wise with lead bullets. Good stuff. Very accurate, and seemed pretty clean.I love 700x in 38 special and 9mm but it is 30% dirt by weight.
I used the Lee 230 grain tumble lubed mold cast from wheel weights. What bullet did you use? HS-6 and 230 grain Speer Gold Dots have made me some nice ammo, running about 875 FPS from a 1911/845 FPS from a SIG P220, with pretty good ES and low SD.

Bet they shoot great for you. Been really finding PP to be very handy for a lot of rounds; loaded down, great. Pushed to the floorboards, great. Jacketed, cast, plated, great. I find it magical for true FBI type, .38 Special loads (158 LSWC-HP @ 900 FPS+), and 9mm Makarov too, along with 9mm, etc, etc... I can believe, and also recall BE86 is a flashed suppressed PP (Bullseye 84), so all that much better. Hercules/Alliant hit a home run with PP, and it seems with BE86 too.I used the Lee 230 grain tumble lubed mold cast from wheel weights.
No doubt about it, we can fall off of a log and find a good load for .45 ACP. One thing that is so nice about it.There must be at least 20 powders these days that will work well in the 45 Auto, it's easy to load for sure.
I haven't tried anything "new" in .45 ACP in a long time, but I bet SP is worth a try.or Sport Pistol.
