Virginia prices will probably be a lot different than California prices, but this has been my experience:


Sig 226 Stainless Steel with rail ~$785 (quoted)
HK USP 45 ~$700 (quoted)

Thanks for all the help! I'm really at a crossroad right now, as I'm trying to decide on my first autoloader. I've shot a Springfield Operator, and it was very nice. I've also shot a Glock 17, and while it was cool and I couldn't really find anything wrong with it, it didn't WOW me. The Springfield did that. I really like Sig 22(x) pistols, but paying $700 for a DA/SA 9mm seems a little high. I've handled all the guns on that list, and due to my massive mitts (I can palm a regulation NBA basketball) all fit my hand pretty well. I guess I'll just have to go through the list and shoot each one! Right now, my favorite would be a Springfield Loaded- wood grips, blued finish, night sights. I don't need or want the Operator rail.
