I see two on gunbroker right now. One has a buy it now price of $600 one is $800. So is sounds like yours for $700 is in the ballpark.

FIgger the mags at about $45-50 apiece... that means the guns is going for $350. THe mags for $350.
Fair price. Might even be cheap.
Is it the performance plus? WHat type of sights does it have?

Ten round factory mags are going for about 45-50...so if they are full cap, 13 rounds, then the mags alone are covering that price.

I picked up a stainless P-13 a couple of gunshows ago for $450. Wasn't really looking for one, but this was too good to pass up. It looks like it hasn't been fired. Shot about 100 rounds through it so far and, once the mag springs were replaced it ran 100%.
I don't think I'd go for the one you describe. For one, I don't like 1911s with aluminum frames. He's selling about $300 worth of mags with the gun. If the mags are factory Paras and not aftermarket AND the gun is in pristine condition, you will probably be able to get your money back out of it if you decide you don't like it. Now I said I wouldn't, but this is you. If you like the gun and you feel the condition is good for the money, then get it. It's not a great deal, but you're not getting shafted either (this is principally dependent upon the mags being genuine Para mags).

If the mags are genuine Para Ordanance its a good deal, if they are Pro Mag or whatever, walk away unless there are at least two 13-round genuine PO mags included.
See these pretty regularly at gun shows around here in the $550 price range.
I recently picked up a P10 like new in the box for $400. Exceptionally small -- too small for most folks. So far it seems reliable.
Other than the base plate, whcih can be simply changed by some less than honest folks, Pro Mags have a mag release notch that is cut much wider (fore and aft, it extends significantly more towards the back of the gun) than the real McCoy and the cut out where the slide stop engages is large enough that you can see where the top of the spring wraps around the tab in on the bottom of the follower.

Genuine Para mags, in my experience, also have Made in Canada (or something to that effect - my gun is in the safe and I'm too lazy to go get it) stamped on the mag bodies.

Yes that's right they do say made in Canada on the front side, I forgot to mention it. Should be easy to tell that way, but with a 4X+ markup I wouldn't put it past a pirate to come up with a roll mark! Much harder to put the extra
metal back into the slide stop and mag catch cutouts!
CDNN Investments has P13 HiCaps for $60 last time I looked. Promag & USA are less than $15 and not worth it!
Like I said, don't buy it without at least a pair of Genuine PO mags, having 7 non-functional mags won't make you very happy.
