I was at the Local Big-Box sporting goods store yesterday buying primers and I found a nice looking M94 on the rack with a $499 price tag. The Serial number was 138xxxx which makes it a war-year production rifle.
My question is this: are these worth any more than other pre '64 M94s?
I already have a '75 vintage M94 so I'm not really interested in buying it, just wondering from a collectors point of view what this rifle might be worth. The $500 price seems about right for a standard pre '64, IMHO.
