Looked at a current ad in Shotgun News and upon calling the ammo dealer, the prices had gone up almost 10 %. He told me the ad stated prices subject to change.
Had a similar situation with a local gun dealer. He took my order (and payment) and upon delivery raised the prices, saying the prices had gone up. Cited the language in small print on the receipt, "prices subject to change". This was for two guns from 2 different manufacturers.
Just wondering if some dealers use this as a way of raising prices even if their dealer cost didn't change.
