In relative terms, where would you place WOLF brand large pistol primers in power,( as in ability to ignite a charge ) with the other manufactuers. Winchester being hottest,CCI the coolest, or make your own list.

Has any one used the Wolf brand pistol primers in large volume straight walled cases,.38 Special,.357 Mag.44 Special .44 Mag.,..45 ACP,45 Colt,.? Tell about your experiance.

Me and two friends have gone through around 60,000 Wolf primers in 9mm and 45 auto. Haven't had any problems yet. As far as how hot they are I can't tell you that.

i used 2000 wolf large pistol magnum primers for 45ACP with 5.3 gr of green dot, had 2 dead ones out of the bunch but I think it was from not being seeted they shot just as clean as CCI's and fed's so i think there ok?

Somewhere between Jennifer Aniston and Jenifer Lopez.

I find Wolf large pistol primer fairly comparable to Winchester - no need to adjust powder charge for similar bullet performance. My experience has been reliable ignition with no dead primers.

I ran some loads (45 ACP) through the chrono. I used Winchester and Wolf primers. The only difference between the loads was the brand of primer. There was no noticable difference between the two in the chrono results.
