My supplier is out of Winchester large pistol primers, but they have Sellier & Bellot and Magtech large pistol primers. Not having used either one I'm looking for feed back as to whether I should wait for Winchester or purchase one of these for use for 45acp, 45 Colt, 44 Special and 44 Mag. Not using 296or H110 so I don't need magnum primers.

I use Magtech, Winchester and CCI primers. All have been excellent for me so I buy whichever one is priced best when I need to purchase.

I've never had a misfire using several thousands of MagTech primers in both small pistol and large pistol. They're a great primer.

Hope this helps.

I've used the magtech's in large pistol and large rifle and never had a problem with them either. Wonder what kind of feedback the S&B's will get from users? I've never tried them.

Another +1 for Magtech primers. Around 10K SP primers shot with no failure issues and comparable to Winchester in performance.

Graf has dropped the S&B price to $20/1000 so we should be getting more feedback on S&B soon. Previous posts here on the S&B small pistol rated them reliable but very thick skinned and hard to set off in light striking guns.
