Hi, I have a Pietta 1860 Colt .44.
I had to replace my trigger, so I ordered the spare part for it.
Thinking I could do it easily myself, I took the thing apart, and already I could tell it was gonna be tough to put it back together, as the springs pushed everything apart undoing the screws.

Now I'm trying to put the darn thing back together, but I can't figure out the spring position and the two screws that seem to keep the springs where they should be. Is it possible to have the back end of the gun assembled (the grip and brass trigger guard) and putting the trigger in that way? I can get it in full cock position, where I put in the 2 screws, but not half cock, its just limp, and when I pull the trigger, it doesn't go back where it should be.

Sounds confusing? I think so, not easy to explain.
Is there a clear diagram from the side or something, where you can see how to fit in the trigger? Or do I need to bring it to a gunsmith? HELP!!!:banghead:
Thanks in advance!!

Sam.

Edit:
After an hour and a half I finally figured it out, so never mind and sorry for posting :)
