Problems with stoeger m2000

I have been having problems with my stoeger automatic lately, it fires the first shot, completely loads the second but will not fire it. I took took the gun completely apart and took the trigger mechanism out, everything looked fine so i gave it all a good thourogh cleaning and it still only fires 1 . anybody have any experience with this, any help is much appreciated.

When you pull the trigger on the second round do you hear the hammer fall?

If that's the case I think that the bolt is not locking up tight after the action cycles. Try bumping the bolt handle forward and see if it fires.
