Anyone familiar with ProGrade brass? Berry's has .40 S & W for sale. I usually use Starline, who has nothing (almost) for sale. Thanks...

I also picked up some from the range in 45ACP and reloaded them without any issues.

I found some 9mm brass in a bunch of range pickups a buddy gave me. Assuming they were once fired, but more than half of them were seriously guppied. They would not resize due to the guppy belly. I don't know if this problem was from the gun they were fired in, or the brass is weak, but I know that they are in the scrap bin.

ProGrade is the newest one of four brands out of the little Montana town of Stevensville, population 1820 in the 2010 census. The others are Hunters Shack Munitions (HSM), Bitterroot Valley Ammunition (BVAC), and Armscorp USA. Of the ProGrade cases I've seen, the ones headstamped ProGrade (mixed upper and lower case) are made in the Philippines. The ones with PROGRADE all in upper case, they are made by Starline. All are primed with CCI primers, both nickel-plated and not-nickel-plated. Perfectly good brass.

I have about 100 of them in 45 ACP and I have reloaded them a few times. They still there ready to be reloaded.

I know this is an older thread, I read online that they had some bad batches get out, the brass is too brittle and cracking on the first firing. They are issuing RMA's and have taken lots off the market as a result.
