Has anyone sent a PTR91 back for a repair? Mine would not eject the ammo they said it was supposed to work with. They said they would repair. I wonder are they going to send me a new rifle ? they also said they they do not re cut the flutes. New barrel? I will say so far their customer service was excellent as far as this point.

as with most companies, I imagine they will repair it if it can be repaired.. If not, they will likely trash it and give you a new gun with the same S#....

If I had to guess however, I would say your gun will be repaired and not replaced as your particular complaint can be attributed to a whole lot of things short of a "toss and start over" fix.

I got my .308 back from PTR inc. when i asked what the issue was or what did they fix they told me they adjusted the bolt gap and the rest was proprietary information. That lets me know they know they screwed up and dont want to admit it.

What kind of ammo was it? Thompson Center barrels will not eject tar sealed surplus because of shallow and short chamber flutes. Those rifles usually have serial prefix AW.
