The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners will be holding public hearings about the future of the Public Safety Training Center indoor range at 12700 SE 82nd Ave., on Wednesday 3/24 and Thursday 3/25 from 6:30PM-8:30PM. The county will be taking ownership of the PSTC from Clackamas Community College vis-a-vis using taxpayer money to assume payments for the balance of the principal and interest for the facility.
The facility was designed and, since its opening, has been used for both law enforcement training as well as firearms training and a practice range for citizens. The county commission is seeking public input as to how and when the PSTC should operate after transition to county ownership.
