Have any of you found, that by switching between an auto and a pump shotgun, that you find yourself:

1. Trying to pump your Benelli autoloader to chamber the next round?
2. Waiting for your 870 to auto load the next shell so you can hit your second bird?

Am I the only one?

Normally not a problem for me. I have done as you suggest after several hundred rounds and changing platforms in the same day.

Never waited on the 870 to load, but have tried to cycle the humpback before.:uhoh:

Hasn't been a problem for me.

Whenever the girlfriend and I hit the range we take turns with each other's shotgun.

We haven't found ourselves doing either 1 or 2.

I have seen shooters experience 1 and 2.

Never been a problem for me either. I switch around a dozen different shotguns of different gauges and types, pumps, autos, O/U's, and singles. Never have had a sidebyside with two triggers though, that might get me.

Guilty :D . I was trying out Jose's (my hunting buddy) Beretta autoloader. Hit a dove, swung to the next one, and kept trying to work the fore end. Didn't fire because I coudn't get the "pump handle" to cycle  .

Nope

I even used a Webley&Scott 28ga SXS with dbl triggers and did fine.

Iffen someone would buy me one of these , for my very own...well...a fella does need to keep his skills sharp...since I advocate mounting and dry fire at home and all...
:D
