I was at the local outdoor shop on the weekend, looking at an Encore when I set eyes on the Omega. I know yo can switch barrels on the Encore, but it meant selling my Ruger #1 and I am quite enamored with that rifle. The Omega is set up similar to the #1 so that was a major selling point. I now just have to find the time to shoot it. My buddies will not go shooting with me because it will kick to much. I personally like the felt recoil of a muzzleloader over that sharp smack from a centerfire rifle. I will let you know whether I have a keeper or if it is for sale next wekend.
