Spent a few days out west shooting prairie dogs. Finished up the trip with perfect weather......and a sun burn. We ended up with some pretty good shooting. I used an AR and a TC Pro hunter both in 223. Got to shoot some private land with lots of critters. One town hadn't been shot this year. The 2011 prairie dog trip could not have gone any better.......
Check out the (graphic) video. It shows a few hits and proves that I can miss plenty too.
I found an excellent shooting position....set up 2 rifles and my DSLR to shoot some videos. It worked great and the dogs were cooperating.
My setup....not as nice as many of yours but I love to shoot like this.
This is a beautiful place.
Oil rules the roost here.
It's tough laying on a shooting mat, using binoculars, looking through a scope, shooting from a bipod, shooting video and concentrate on shooting all day. But I wouldn't have it any other way.......
I figured since I was using rifles this forum would be the best fit....considering the fact that it's not really hunting...just shooting.
