I'm interested in upgrading to a fully ambidextrous lower on one of my ARs. I'm currently running an Anderson lower that I installed a PDQ lever into. I was hoping it'd be a long-term solution for me but I'm starting to think of it as a proof-of-concept. I may continue to tinker with it but I think I want to get something that's a level up.

**Note - I'm looking just to get a stripped lower. I've already got a trigger and other components I'm pretty happy with that I'll swap into a new unit. No need to buy a complete lower so I'm unconcerned about their other components. I'll be using it with a BCM 16" mid-length upper and BCG.

Anyway - I've looked over specs and reviews on the LMT MARS, Radian ADAC, POF, ADM4, etc. My main desire is to be able to lock the bolt back with my trigger finger while keeping said finger out of the trigger guard. Left-side mag release is nice.

I'm most attracted to the PWS MK116 Mod2M as the controls seem pretty intuitive, it has a rep for good quality, and the price point is pretty reasonable (the ADM4 is next higher but the lever itself is smaller and it's another $150).

Here's the lower in question: https://www.primaryweapons.com/mk1-mod-2-m-stripped-lower/

I'm curious what experience folks here might have with longevity of the unit and customer service from the company. Again, I'll be pairing it with a BCM upper so compatibility with other manufacturers' uppers is a must.

Any info appreciated!

PWS makes high quality parts and rifles. If have zero issues running a PWS lower.

I've shot several full PWS rifles and they all performed great. I've never seen a PWS lower on a regular upper though that I can remember. I believe it should work fine as their real proprietary stuff is the upper, but Id call PWS and just make sure.

I tried to call but no answer - pretty sure they're off for a few days for the holiday. I went ahead and placed the order, the listing for the lower explicitly says "AR-15 compatible" and I was able to take advantage of a nice discount plus free shipping due to their holiday sale. Worst case I can return it if it doesn't fit I suppose.

Thanks!

A buddy of mine has a PWS lower with a BCM upper and it runs fine. The lower is pretty much just a regular AR lower save a couple of proprietary flourishes like the ratcheting castle nut. I have three PWS rifles and have been very happy with them.
