Hello.
I know there are tons of threads on the Taurus 92's, but I am asking about the LATEST PT92's to hit the shelves, since there hasn't been much talk about them here lately.
In short, I am contemplating picking up a Stainless PT92 instead of a Beretta 92, which I've always wanted. I guess I just can't quite stomach Beretta's inclusion of plastic parts in the new 92's, so I was wondering how the newer production Taurus equivelents were holding up, if anybody has one.
Yes, I've had Taurus's before, and I won't get into the dissatisfying experience with their customer service I had over a PT100 that I ended up being only too happy to trade away ... but that was years ago and in a different caliber. Is the PT92 worth taking a chance on Taurus again?
Also, will Lasergrips fit the Taurus series?
BTW what I am wanting is a soft-recoiling/fast-shooting 9mm for range use and home defense. Add in enough accuracy for informal target shooting, say < 2.5" at 25 yds., and I couldn't really ask for more out of an auto. A nice single-action trigger would also be nice.
So, would you buy another PT92?
