I came across a virtually new Daewoo DH40 at my local range. I'm very interested in this pistol but one thing caught my attention. The slide racks too easily. It almost feels like a .22...well maybe not that easy, but close. Because it is a .40, a fairly high power pistol round, I expected something more akin to 9mm spring strength.
My question is; Is that normal for a DH40?
Anything else I should know or look for before buying?
I see that Daewoo is out of business now and parts are scarce, but this would be an occational gun, possibly the one I have for the wife's use, (if the slide racks so easily and is normal).
The gun looks almost new, comes with 5 mags, asking $400, which sounds high, but the mags offset the price a bit, I guess.
