question about a old western movie.

i recently caught a few minutes of a western movie my girlfriend was watching a few days ago, i dont know the name of the movie, but i remember one particular character was a somewhat "heavy-set" gun-for-hire, he had a irish or scott accent, and he carried around a old creedmore rifle with hand engraving and floral scroll work on the stock.

anybody know of the movies title?
