Question about Browning Pro-* and FN FNP-* decocking mechnism

I read some where that these twins decock to a half cock position, much the same like the decocker on a CZ pistol. Is it true? I searched here but coulndn't find anything mentioning about it. Thanks!...

yes, it's true. Most decocking pistols that I am familiar with decock to a half cock position, so they don't hit the firing pin when the hammer falls.

Thanks, that's what I want to know... (personally, I'd prefer those let the hammer fall to full rest, while keeping the firing pin butt out of the way. Ruger works like that...)
