Does anyone have higher profile sights on you HK P7? I recently bought one and it is a brilliant shooter. It is surely as accurate as I could ever shoot it. The problem is the sights are a little low for my taste. I have Ameriglo night sights on my M&P and they are about a 1/3 taller than the P7 sights. I don't feel like I see enough front sight to get the feedback I need to shoot it really well. I like night sights but I can have a front night sight installed later or do without if need be.

Remember, I'm asking about the P7 German police model not the P7M8.

Nobody!?!?!?!!?!?
I guess I'm sending it off to have the night sight vials installed. I do have a night sight sitting around that I'm not using. I wonder if it would be feasible to remove the insert in the front sight and replace it with the tritium vial from the other sight? Hmmmm.

trijicon makes a good set of night sights that fit the p7. i suppose you could get some non standard sights that sit higher/more exposed from the slide. theoretically, you could get quad rails attached and go for the tactical entry sportster p7. of course it wouldn't be very good for carry.

I wonder it the Trijicons are any taller? I'm not looking for great big target sights just something a little more visible.

installing Trijicons on a PSP entails them drilling out your factory sights and installing their vials...not taller sights or even new ones.

the only taller sights i've seen for a P7 were a set custom made to clear a suppessor and another made for a 6" slide/compensator M13

...which are drilled out factory sights.

now i should admit it's been awhile since i checked, so they might have found a different supplier.

but one of the pluses of the PSP is it's compact deminsions and smooth exterior...i believe there has been limited demand for taller sights.

you could always get the M8 sights re-fitted to the PSP slide...they are taller

Looking at Trijicons website I can tell the sights pictured are not the same as my factory sight. I don't think you have your facts straight.

are we looking at the same sight set?

i just checked their web site and they look just like the sight set on my PSP.

it's the HK05...not the one pictured on their home page
