Question about SpecOps stock and Mossberg Persuader

Hey so I realized the pistol grip Mossberg 500 is a bit cheaper than the full stock 500....and I'm planning on installing a Spec Ops recoil reducing stock anyway.

So the SpecOps should fit the Pursuader fine right? The only difference is the grip....otherwise the 12guages are the same in the 500 series?

A few years ago I used a Remington 870 with the Knox stock at a Police Firearms Instructors school. We would shoot 25 rounds of full load buck shot per range session. Normally my shoulder is tender after about 10 rounds. With the Knox stock I could keep shooting even after the 25 round session. It felt like it reduced the recoil by a third. I wish we could put them on our department Mossberg 500s.

I know they fit 500s. Hopefully your department will let you one day?
