Question on next semi-auto.

Now that I bought my first 1911 I want to start looking into a hi-cap tactical semi-auto. Let me first say I won't be getting one until after August so until then I want to do as much research on as many makes and models as I can. The only thing I am sure about right now is the price that I want to spend on one. I'm will only go as high as $800. So can anyone give me some input and maybe a pic or two on something you think I should look into.

From personal experience, I would recommend:
1) Ruger P series
2) Taurus PT92
3) Beretta 92, 84

However, Glocks, Sigs, HKs, CZs, and Browning HP also have devoted fans.

I am a Sig fan and a Glock fan they are really great firearms. My glock has been there when I really needed it. I just got a Sig and I have to say that I think I am going to sell the Glock because I have never shot another gun as fine as a Sig. I own a Sig SP2009 "blueline" the decocker is one of the things about it I really like. I a very PC world it is nice to have the hammer down and still be ready to go.
